Those if you that drive past will be aware to M in West Ham has been missing from the big sign outside for months.

They've finally got around to replacing it....with an upside down W! Looks fucking shocking, what a great way to introduce potential signings to the club.

15th richest in Europe, no stadium overheads, and they can't bare to spend £50 on a fucking m. "Next level" what a crick of shit

Russ. I myself did a large part of my growing up in Laindon and the surrounding area. And know it hasn’t improved in the passing year. Taking a bulldozer to it. Would really help humanity.!

Ah, don't be so short sighted. I grew up in Laindon and now live in Basildon. So do alot of really top West Ham boys. Come down and visit us. We'll show you its a decent place, if you know where to go and who to be with

Brighton built a new training facility, state of the art, considered one of the best

The cost ?, 20 million

Ridiculous that we don't spend that sort of money

Oh and btw, they added a training facility for the women's team, 9 million !

Our club is in the fucking dark ages

.need you eyes testing mate, it doesn't match up "perfectly" you can clearly see the misaligned outline of the old m in the grimy line behind.

Lee

Have they really replaced all the letters now? They hadn't last week, maybe they've shamed into it via twitter, clearly wasn't the original intention!

Re: Rush Green
Along with the old training ground at Chadwell Heath, and probably Westfield's playing fields, the current training ground is due to become a gravel extraction site within the next 20 - 30 years.

Whether or not the club will be allowed back is another matter - the part of Crown Farm between Eastern Avenue & London Road seems to have become a golf course as opposed to the potato/pea field it was when I was growing up..

You failed to mention the most important thing, the letters have all been replaced so it doesn't look so gypo.

Re: Rush Green
Sounds promising.? Hopefully the club can bulldoze the entire area between the Dutton turn off. And Sadlers Farm roundabout. The Club would be doing a great service for humanity.!

West Ham are in the process of looking to build a new training ground.

They are currently looking at potential sites, with one in Basildon understood to be in consideration, as the club require large acres of land to build the new facility.

No post on here blaming Moyes for this, somehow, yet.

Re: Rush Green
I was looking at the picture of this and couldn't help but notice - doesn't this 'upside down W' perfectly cover the mark of the old M, meaning it's always been the same?

Meaning this is a big old whine about nothing?

Good to read posts on here praising Spurs up.....
Again.

Have they won anything with a top of the range signed training ground?

No is the answer .

This post reminds me of the old joke about the workmen putting up a sign for Accles and Pollock

Bert (up a ladder): Right Charlie pass up the "P"

Charlie: I've only got a "B" left.

Bert: You know what Charlie?

Charlie: No, what?

Bert: We've fucked up that job at The London Brick Company.

I guess they might have got the job at Rush Green

They should replace the W with two V’s to balance it out.

And yet, we're producing the best youth teams in the country. I'd say the others are too soft. They need a bit of wush gween.

Whenever I speak to the parents who have kids in academies they all say how great the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham's facilities are, even a lot of the 2nd division sides have much better set ups than us. They all say how poor and basic West Ham's are. Need massive investment.

Re: Rush Green

I would think it's certainly a factor, they wouldn't care about it specifically but it is an indicator of the professionalism of the club.
Imagine you're a player that's just been given the tour of Tottenham's state of the art training facilities, and then you turn up at West Ham and that's the first thing you see!
